Matthew Palermo, Constructability (Team Leader)
Matthew was a senior Civil Engineering major and a part of the constructability team, as well as the Team Leader for the 2024 ASCE Concrete Canoe Team. He has experience in water resources engineering, environmental engineering, and construction management through his summer internships with HNTB and Arcadis. Matthew was also the Vice President of TCNJ’s ASCE Chapter, the Marshal of TCNJ’s Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society, and a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He will be obtaining his Master’s of Science in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering at Villanova University starting in the fall of 2024.
Jamie Paddock, Constructability
Jamie was a senior Civil Engineering major and a part of the constructability team for the 2024 ASCE Concrete Canoe Team. She has experience in project management through her summer internship with The Falcon Group. Jamie was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She will start her career as a land development manager at Edgewood Properties.
John Lombardelli, Mix Design
John was a senior Civil Engineering major on the 2024 ASCE Concrete Canoe team as a member of the concrete mix team. He has experience in project management specializing in road and bridge construction through his summer internship at South State, Inc. John was the Secretary of TCNJ’s Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society, a member of TCNJ’s ASCE Chapter, and a member of TCNJ’s Theta Tau Chapter. He will be working as a Project/Field Engineer for South State, Inc.
Mackenzie Bosland, Mix Design
Mackenzie was a senior Civil Engineering major and a part of the mix design team for the 2024 ASCE Concrete Canoe team. She has experience in construction management and project engineering through her summer internship with J. Fletcher Creamer & Son. Mackenzie was the Treasurer of TCNJ’s Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society. After graduation, she will be working full time as a Project/Field Engineer for Turner Construction Company.
John McElroy, Hull Design
John was a senior Civil Engineering major and was responsible for the hull design for the 2024 ASCE Concrete Canoe team. He has experience in site/civil design and stormwater management through his summer internship with Bowman Consulting Group. He also participated in TCNJ’s M.U.S.E. program and was the president of the TCNJ chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He will be working as a Design Engineer for Stonefield.
