Alexander Prior was the team leader who focused on the hydrologic aspects of the project. He was responsible for the HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS software to develop the bridge, culvert, and deck to determine the most efficient design. Key information such as peak flow and curve number was calculated using StreamStats and ArcMap. The past couple of summers, Alexander interned at Pennoni, a firm which specializes in the creation of infrastructure . He will begin work in July in Wildwood. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, jui-jitsu, and beach life.

Elieh Carrington was a senior civil engineering student at The College of New Jersey who focused on the hydrologic aspect of the project. Tasks included overseeing the hydrologic elements and ensuring the bridge does not overtop. This consists of a redesign of the bridge’s high and low chords. Elieh assisted with the design of the bridge and deck by utilizing HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS. Elieh will be returning to his previous internship in a full time working position at T&M Associates, which specializes in engineering and construction management. Elieh will be working in the Traffic Group in the Transportation department.

Elias Dimarhos is an associate of the team whose primary focus was on the structural aspects of the project. He was responsible for the design of the superstructure, which includes the two steel girders and concrete deck. Upon graduation, Elias will be returning to his previous internship in a full time position working at Colliers Engineering & Design in the Water/Wastewater department. He will be drafting water/wastewater structures/systems and evaluated existing sites/structures to properly propose design solutions for clients.

Joseph Tomich is a senior civil engineering student at The College of New Jersey. He was responsible for the redesign of the substructure and the design of new ADA compliant ramps that are currently not in place. Over the past summer, Joseph interned with J-Track Construction, which specializes in track and transit system contractors. Joseph worked on-site at Parkchester Station Bronx, NY where he assisted the sites Superintendent and engineers. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a brother of the Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity. He will be working at AECOM in New York City as a structural engineer on the bridge design team after graduation.
