Christopher Prisco (pictured above) is a senior mechanical engineering student attending The College of New Jersey. He is aiming to graduate in May of 2024, where he will then pursue his goal of becoming a project manager for various construction firms. Chris possesses robust talents in engineering modeling, model analysis, manufacturing processes, and controls analysis. Within the Underwater Vehicle team, Chris assumes the leadership role for several key projects. Specifically, he oversees the control systems, SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling, the development and maintenance of the team’s website, and the design and implementation of the propulsion system for the underwater craft. Chris’s expertise and leadership contribute significantly to the success and efficiency of these critical aspects of the project.
Jared Sparmo (pictured above) is a senior mechanical engineering student attending The College of New Jersey. He is aiming to graduate in May of 2024, where he hopes to pursue employment working for the Department of Defense. In the summer of 2022, Jared had the pleasure of interning at Lakehurst NAVAIR Base in Lakehurst, New Jersey under the Department of Defense College Acquisition Internship Program (DCAIP). Jared possesses impressive talents in the fields of engineering economics, control systems, fluid mechanics, and engineering management. Due to his keen interests in these areas, Jared has taken on the roles of team leader, team treasurer, and the head of hydrostatic and dimensional analysis within the Underwater Vehicle team. His expertise and leadership in these crucial aspects contribute significantly to the team’s overall effectiveness and success.
