The area experiences heavy congestion daily, due to high traffic volumes from local commuters. Currently, the intersections within the corridor offer minimal infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists. The lack of accessibility prevents safe alternative modes of transportation which can create safety hazards for those attempting to travel the area without a vehicle.
