
Currently enrolled at The College of New Jersey, Louis Turner is working towards a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, backed by a multifaceted foundation in construction and surveying. Louis worked part-time this summer as an entry-level bridge engineer/inspector with aspirations to embark on a professional journey in Project Management or Design Engineering. He believes in harnessing hands-on expertise as an underutilized asset to become a proficient Project Manager within the organization, with a long-term objective of obtaining my Professional Engineer (PE) license. Louis is the team leader for this project “Repair and Rehabilitation of County Route 626, White NJ 07825. The Team leader is responsible for overseeing the entire project while Louis will also focus on the Hydrology/Hydraulic redesign of the bridge and waterways components.

Antonio Gonzalez is a senior Civil Engineering student at The College of New Jersey, with an Associate’s Degree in General Engineering from Ocean County College. He has interest in geotechnical and water resources engineering. In the “Repair and Rehabilitation of County Route 626 in White Township, NJ” project, Tony will be focusing on transportation and some geotechnical components. Before graduation, Tony hopes to secure an entry-level engineering job in either water resources or geotechnical engineering.

Michael Harrison is a dedicated Civil Engineering student at The College of New Jersey, set to graduate with the class of 2025. He is particularly interested in pursuing careers in water resource engineering or highway engineering. For this current project, Michael is concentrating on the hydraulic engineering aspects, including focusing on redesigning a failed bridge culvert and using information from online databases to evaluate the storm which led to the road failure. Michael is passionate about sustainable infrastructure and aims to contribute to innovative solutions in civil engineering. After graduation, he aspires to get a position within his chosen fields, where he can apply his knowledge and skills to real-world challenges.

Daniel Geissler is a senior Civil Engineering student, set to graduate in the Spring of 2025. He has interest in geotechnical, hydrology, and transportation engineering. With experience gained from internships in both geotechnical and transportation fields, Daniel brings practical knowledge and skills to the team. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation v8i, Daniel plays a key role in the senior project, handling the design of roundabouts, collecting traffic data through volume counts, gathering crash reports, and conducting traffic simulations using Synchro/PTV Vissim. Passionate about sustainable infrastructure, Daniel looks forward to contributing to innovative solutions in the field.
