This morning we all got up nice and early to meet with our machinist Joe! He gave us a monthly calendar with all the important dates over the next 2 semesters as a reference. He gave us information on the tools we will need to be using, the CNC and the Laser Cutter! He also gave us some advice on different aspects of senior project overall!

The team met with the Dean today to go over our travel budget. We presented two options: one where everyone drives down to Florida, and another where 3 people fly and 2 people drive. Both of these options give us the opportunity to drive the plane down to competition and not waste 3 weeks of testing time having to ship the plane. We got approved for all of us to drive to Florida, along with our $1,000 registration fee. We now all need to be hired by Mike Steeil and then reserve the vans for us to drive. We also need to meet with Mike to register for competition!!
