Meet the Team

Team Leader | Manufacturing & Sensor Design – (BME)

Grace is a senior Biomedical Engineering student from Woodbury, New Jersey. Her main role concerns the manufacturing of the base socket as well as the arrangement of the sensor system in the prototype. Throughout the past four years, Grace has had experiences in both manufacturing as well as medical and research through various occupations. In addition, she has expanded her interests outside of the BME education by participating in environmental science research through The College of New Jersey since the Fall of 2023. Grace aspires to be in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, specifically working with pediatrics or pro-athletes. As of now, Grace will continue to introduce herself to this field through shadow experiences as well as plan for graduate school in the near future.

Secretary | Computer Modeling, Simulation & Analysis – (ME)

Emily is a senior mechanical engineering student from Wayne, New Jersey. Emily’s primary focus will revolve around computer modeling and testing of the socket. In the summer of 2023 she worked for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA), where she was involved in project management for the Meadowlands Sports Complex, gaining hands-on experience in coordinating complex projects. In the summer of 2024 she worked as a project engineer intern at Whiting-Turner contributing to a large higher education project. In this role, she assisted the project manager in coordinating with subcontractors to address on-site challenges. Following graduation, she will continue her career at Whiting-Turner as a Project Engineer.
