{"id":17,"date":"2021-10-27T14:30:05","date_gmt":"2021-10-27T14:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/engprojects.tcnj.edu\/apd-22\/?p=17"},"modified":"2022-03-30T09:01:32","modified_gmt":"2022-03-30T09:01:32","slug":"welcome-to-the-apd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/engprojects.tcnj.edu\/apd-22\/2021\/10\/27\/welcome-to-the-apd\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to the APD!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Goal<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The APD(Autonomous Photography Drone) plans to be an autonomous quadcopter capable of navigating to a real-estate property given and address and taking photographs while circling the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are we<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The team consists of four engineers from three different disciplines: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Evan Hope<\/strong> is a <em>computer engineer<\/em> developing the automation, computer vision, and application features of the project. <\/li><li><strong>William Apostolico<\/strong> is a <em>mechanical engineer<\/em> responsible for creating the testing mechanism for the drone and performing structural analysis on the drone body.<\/li><li><strong>Fabian Mestanza<\/strong> is an <em>electrical engineer<\/em> focused on control theory and ensuring the drone can perform stable flight.<\/li><li><strong>Alex Bolen<\/strong> is an <em>electrical engineer <\/em>focused on the power system of the drone, as well as contributing to the development of the drones control system code.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advisors<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ambrose Adegbege<\/strong> is an associate professor for the department of electrical and computer engineering at TCNJ. Dr. Adegbege research interests include: constrained control, robust control, antiwindup design, and control optimization.<\/li><li><strong>Mohammed Alabsi <\/strong>is an assistant professor for the department of mechanical engineering at TCNJ.
