Welcome To the APIS Website
Automated Pollination Information System (APIS) is a Senior Project created by Jake Bezold(bezoldj1@tcnj.edu), Matt Kilcher(kilchem2@tcnj.edu), Adam Varone(varonea1@tcnj.edu), and Zach Warcola(warolz1@tcnj.edu) with advisor Dr. Larry Pearlstein(pearlstl@tcnj.edu) at the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). The Project’s goal is to create a bee hive monitoring system so that beekeepers will not have to constantly travel to their hives to know whether they are healthy.
To explore the website, click the different tabs above to learn about the different parts of the project. More info on the general makeup of the product is below.
There are two main sides to APIS: the hive/embedded system side and the consumer app side. The image below shows an early representation on how they will interconnect.

As our project progressed further, we decided to use LTE over 3G connection. Below is a flow from start to finish of how our project operates.
