<\/a><\/p>\nAvi Shah – Team Leader<\/strong><\/p>\n Avi Shah is a senior Biomedical Engineer with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. As Team Leader, Avi Shah oversees the weekly briefings and meetings with the team\u2019s advisor, nurse, and the hand therapist assisting with the device. As Head of Software and Coding, Avi oversees the programing of the Arduino that will be used to regulate the temperature of the glove. Avi will also be in charge of designing the H-Bridge that will be used to change the device from heating to cooling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Steven Ayala – Webmaster<\/strong><\/p>\n Steven Ayala is a a senior Biomedical Engineering major with a mechanical specialization. As Webmaster, Steven oversees the construction of the team\u2019s website that displays the team\u2019s profile, production updates, sponsorship, and any media throughout the course of the project completion. As for the device, Steven is responsible for designing and implementing the power system that will be used to\u00a0operate the active elements of the device. Steven will assist in completing the designs of the device using SolidWorks.<\/span> Upon graduation, Steven aims on pursuing his Ph.D. in the field of tissue engineering.<\/p>\n Tarek Hamid – Treasurer<\/strong><\/p>\n Tarek Hamid is a senior Biomedical Engineering major with an electrical specialization and a minor in Computer Engineering.\u00a0As Treasurer, Tarek oversees and manages all financial accounts via the team budget as well as the team inquiries.\u00a0Tarek is in charge of creating a system to dissipate the waste heat that is generated when the device cools the hand.\u00a0<\/span>Upon graduation, Tarek aims on going to law school to obtain his JD with the hopes of practicing patent law.<\/p>\n Aakash Trivedi – Secretary<\/strong><\/p>\n Aakash Trivedi is a senior Biomedical Engineering major with an electrical specialization and is on the premedical track. As Secretary, Aakash keeps all aspects of the project such as monthly objectives and the Gantt Chart in check alongside all meeting minutes.
