The ABDS team has completed hours of testing and fine tuning to make sure the system works properly!
This is the ABDS electronics layout. It is powered by an 11.1V, 3 cell battery and it wired through a breadboard. The brains of the system is an Arduino and it utilizes waterproof motors and ultrasonic sensors.
Our dock is made our of recycled wood materials. It was designed to mimic an actual boat slip too scale!

The ABDS Team has finished the construction of their Boat and Dock!
The ABDS Team has started working with Marine Basics LLC in order to obtain a better understanding of the wave runner boats that their design will be implemented on. Marine Basics primarily focus on the restoration of medium sized lake boats.
The ABDS Team with guidance from their advisor has decided to change their mechanical system. They are now going from an inboard to outboard system.
Over the winter break, the ABDS team has decided to re-innovate the motor design. An outboard system will be used instead of an inboard system. It will be more portable and easy to use.
