Description:

The project aims to build autonomous wheelchair that navigates the environment, detects and avoid obstacles, and tracks to a predefined destination. This will be achieved by building a system that utilizes sensors, cameras, and algorithms to generate a 3D map of its surroundings. It also uses an embedded microprocessor capable of real-time data processing that trains AI algorithms and plans a collision-free path to the predefined destination. Then the microprocessor sends updated signals and controls a motorized wheelchair. The project presents an opportunity to learn different hardware components and software systems as such provides a unique experience.

Summary:
