Moving Glare Effect on Dark Background

BreatheEZ Respiratory Device

Introduction:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive respiratory disease that affects millions of Americans, particularly those over the age of 60. Patients with COPD face numerous challenges, including limited access to rehabilitation services, severe symptoms that inhibit daily tasks, and costly treatment options. Currently, there are devices available to monitor respiratory function, such as the Negative Inspiratory Flow (NIF) Meter, Peak Flow Meter, and Incentive Spirometer, but these devices have limitations in accessibility, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness. Therefore, there is a need for a new device that can monitor limited respiratory function in elderly COPD patients and provide accessible and cost-effective at-home care.
