The purpose of our senior project is to design and construct a canoe made out of concrete using our engineering knowledge gained throughout our schooling at TCNJ. We will be competing against many other schools in the Metropolitan area at the regional competition at Cooks Pond in Denville, NJ. The competition is judged based on a formal presentation about our design method, and a technical paper. Our technical paper will include an in-depth analysis of the various mix designs that we are testing and the structural analyses of different hull designs.
