Laasya is from Marlboro, New Jersey and is studying Biomedical Engineering. She will be graduating from The College of New Jersey in Spring 2026 and hopes to work as a quality engineer in medical devices before pursuing graduate studies in Neural Engineering.
Elizabeth Broderick
Treasurer, Hardware and Power Lead
Elizabeth is from Pequannock, New Jersey, and she is studying Biomedical Engineering. She transferred to The College of New Jersey from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the fall of 2024 and will be graduating in May of 2026. After graduation, Elizabeth is planning to go into the medical device industry to further her engineering skills.
Gabriella Mauro
Secretary, Webmaster, Signal Processing Lead
Gabriella is from Hamilton Township, New Jersey, and she is studying biomedical engineering. She will be graduating from the College of New Jersey in May of 2026 and hopes to attend graduate school for either Public Health or Biology.

As this is a senior capstone project, we will be working within a design control framework—in which various stages of planning, and review of plans and specifications in order to ensure that the product is up to the regulations these require. At each stage of planning and development, advisors will review and make sure that the device continues to meet its original objective.
