Research is underway regarding how our EM detector will function and the antenna needed. Design of a lightning simulator has begun. Research for light detectors is underway. Our micro controller and compatible GPS receiver have been picked. We picked an Arduino feather and an Adafruit GPS module. Both the Arduino and GPS module have been acquired.

Due to complications with the band pass filter, we have changed to a simpler configuration. Progress has been made on the design of the light detector array, aswell as the programming of the Arduino to be connected to the internet through WiFi and GPS connectivity.

Over the winter break, Claude and Charles kept in touch regarding the construction of the antenna. In order to simplify the construction of the antenna, we switched from a circular antenna to a square antenna. We also switched from a standard wire to coaxial cable.
