During the first few weeks of the fall semester, the team has been investigating the parking situation at TCNJ. As a team, we have found the total amount of students on campus (commuters and residents). We have also found the amount of decals given out this semester. Finally, we have found the amount of spots available in each parking location at TCNJ. This has helped us quantify the supply and demand of the parking market. However, we must figure out local codes for parking in order to give a rough number to the amount of spots that are required on campus. Most recently, we have met with a campus planning architect to discuss this. Unfortunately, there is no hard number for the local codes that cover TCNJ. By the end of the month, the team hopes to get hard numbers on the supply and demand.<br><br>Another point of discussion with the campus planning architect was the impervious vs pervious area on TCNJ\u2019s campus. According to the codes that juristic the campus, TCNJ is well over the accepted percentage. The team\u2019s calculations state almost 75% of TCNJ\u2019s campus is impervious. This is not good for the campus\u2019s environment, as well as, drainage.
