The drivetrain of the vehicle will provide power to the rear wheel of the vehicle, and will feature a variable 10-speed sprocket cassette\/derailleur assembly to allow for peak power generation at all speeds. An electric mid-drive motor will be coupled to the pedal assembly to allow for electric assist when the vehicle is in operation. The overall goals of the Drivetrain are to achieve a top speed of 28mph without electric assist, maintain smooth and efficient shifting, and accelerate as fast as possible provided human and electric power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
