Another Option for our development direction is to use the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (shown in image below). This is an improved version of the basic, cheap, and compact raspberry pi zero which also has wireless connectivity modules for things like Bluetooth.

We plan to use this in conjunction with a usb camera designed for raspberry pi boards(image below). We’ll use this camera to capture & translate hand signal/gesture tracking into control input for a TV on the raspberry pie itself. Ideally, this will be done using a neural network which we plan to pre-train in order to keep it compact and low-intensity for the raspberry pi in order to increase response time. This however presents a trade-off, we have to find the right balance of speed vs accuracy in our model.
