Final Product

Here is some media of the final product. The device has been successfully constructed after over a semester of design work, and the team is happy with what has been produced.

While this was a successfully built product, it wasn’t the product we wanted. During testing, it has been observed that the systems did not function as expected. The gripping system did not operate smoothly, and sometimes did not grip objects with a proportional force (ex. gripping a metal water bottle too lightly as to let it slide out of the user’s hand). The anti tremor system was not as strong as the team designed it to be. The controls system gave unreliable feedback to the microcontroller when the user was gripping and/or releasing an object. The team recognizes that with future iterations, modified designs can solve these issues.
