2)\u00a0 The five intersections, which include Scotch Road, Lower Ferry Rd, West Farrell Ave, Olden Avenue, and Parkside Avenue, all intersecting at Parkway Avenue, were redesigned to improve the current conditions of the roadway. \u00a0The first step in this process was to take an aerial view of the roadway and insert it into AUTO-CAD to scale. \u00a0This made it possible to sketch directly over the aerial view, while keeping the drawing to scale. \u00a0Each of the four team members were assigned an intersection to work on, while the Olden Ave intersection redesign was a collaborative effort. \u00a0This was due to the complexity of this intersection relative to the others. \u00a0The entire roadway was placed into Synchro in order to get a visual of the traffic flow, before and after the implementation of the road diet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
