The hardware driver for the curve tracer will consist of two individual circuits, one for NPN\/NMOS and one for PNP\/PMOS devices.\u00a0 The driver is currently constructed on a solderless breadboard, but we will ultimately design and assemble a custom printed circuit board. An inexpensive Cypress PSoC 5LP Prototyping Kit will interface with the hardware driver to find threshold voltages and produce the necessary drain\/collector and gate\/base voltages. The PSoC microcontroller will also drive a full color touchscreen display for user control and display of the semiconductor voltage-current curves. Furthermore, the program will be able to save device voltage-current measurements in a CSV file on a microSD card.
