NOT ONLY ARE THEY PAINFUL, BUT PRESSURE ULCERS CAN ALSO LEAD TO DEEP WOUNDS, MUSCLE DETERIORATION, AND INFECTION. MEDICAL STAFF IS OFTEN OVERWORKED AND UNDERSTAFFED, AND FROM THIS, TIMELY REPOSITIONING IS OFTEN NOT FOLLOWED AS WELL AS LIMITED LIFTING SUPPORT FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE MULTIPLE STAFF. THEREFORE THERE IS A NEED FOR ASSISTANCE IN BOTH ALERTING STAFF AND AIDING IN THE WEIGHT BEARING OF A PATIENT&#8217;S LOAD. THIS IS WHERE P.H.A.M.
