He is responsible for designing and analyzing the frame, electronic housing assembly, and buoyancy system. As the team leader, he is also responsible for financial, time, and personnel management. Max is analyzing the ROV for structural stability, while ensuring the vehicle is watertight with a positive buoyancy. She is responsible for creating a user interface for the team to use on a laptop onshore in conjunction with a handheld controller to communicate and execute commands to the ROV. Blanchard is also responsible for the sensors and camera feedback. Ethan was responsible for designing the propulsion system of the vehicle. He determined the method of propulsion along with the orientation and layout of the thrusters. He is mainly responsible for designing the power system of the ROV. This entails providing sufficient power required by each of the ROV\u2019s components, and the design of the tether. Additionally, Sean is determined to design in-house motor drivers and buck converters capable of withstanding its respective components power draw.
