About

According to the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) Office of Motor Vehicle management, 6,420,000 auto accidents occur per year in the United States and ninety-eight percent are caused by human error. Autonomous vehicles can be the solution to diminish the drastic amount of automotive accidents that occur each year in the US by eliminating the human error factor. We propose to develop an autonomous vehicle equipped with various sensors and a microcontroller that can be driven by a Nao robot to display how autonomous vehicles can be safer than human driven vehicles.
