September Updates

Week 1 (September 3-9): Requirements for the device were created to start understanding device design.
Week 2 (September 10-16): Website to showcase device development was made.
Week 3 (September 17-23):Machine shop meeting occurred to understand parts manufacturing.
Device requirements were redesigned and specifications for the requirements were created.
Week 4 (September 24-30):Realistic constraints for the device were created.

October Updates

Week 5 (October 1-7):Budget began to be worked on to start looking at parts necessary to order or start purchasing.
Week 6 (October 8-14):Standards for the device were created.
Week 7 (October 15-21):A gantt chart was created to provide a general timeline for the device creation and project assignments.
Week 8 (October 22-28):Interim Presentation was created
Design inputs were updated and refined

November Updates

Week 9 (October 29-November 4)Interim Presentation was presented and feedback was integrated into project design.
Week 10 (November 5-11)Final report began to be worked on
Verification and Validation activities were created
Week 11 (November 12-18)Triad Spectral Sensor and SPO2 Sensor were ordered
Ardiunos were experimented with and code began to be written.
Week 12 (November 19-25)Project algorithm was created and patient testing began to be generated.
Week 13 (November 26-December 2)Went over final report and final presentation makeup and criteria.

December/January

During winter break research into verification and validation methods were completed along with design considerations.

February Updates

Week 1 (January 28th – February 3rd)Verification activities were discussed and testing protocols began to be created
Week 2 (February 4th -February 10th)Validation activities were discussed and testing protocols began to be created
Week 3 (February 11- February 17th)Verification activities were began.
Week 4 (February 18th – February 24th)Verification activities were continued in addition to some validation activities beginning.
Week 5 (February 25th – March 2nd)Final code for project was adjusted to accommodate all devices connected.

March Updates

Week 6 (March 3rd – March 9th)Code was addition worked on and verification and validation activities continued.
Week 7 (March 10th – March 16th)Week of spring break so team members worked separately from their homes.
Week 8 (March 17th – March 23rd)New gantt chart was created to keep track on semester long activities and keep team on track.
Week 9 (March 24th – March 30th)NEBEC posted was created and design was beginning and information was beginning to be created.

April Updates

Week 10 (March 31st – April 6th)Final preparations for NEBEC conference in addition to final poster touchups were done.
Week 11 (April 7th – April 13th)Final project design was created and final parts were being permanently glued shut.
Week 12 (April 14th – April 20th)Additional validation tested was conducted
Week 13 (April 21st – April 27th)Final design was completed in addition to any additional testing data
