As we move through the middle of February, manufacturing is under way! Our main body plates have had their design finalized, and soon, the water jet cutter will create the shape and necessary holes. There has also been a slight edit to our landing gear design, as now they’ll be made of carbon fiber tubes similar to our wings, which will cut down costs and increase strength as opposed to aluminum. The circuitry network has been connected to the Mission Planner software, and a test flight has been uploaded, and once soldering is done, testing can properly begin. We look forward to our first flight soon!

Start of Spring Semester Update
To kick off the spring semester, the team would like to share some new updates on what’s been made! Over the past semester, the team worked hard to create a finished and polished final design to begin production, as well as create a proper budget and implement a construction plan. Below is our final circuit diagram and a Solidworks model of what the UAV will look like when constructed. Look forward to more updates as the finished product is constructed and testing begins.
