Adjustability and Storability

Adjustability

The device passes this verification study as the SolidWorks model measured 45 inches at the lowest height setting and 53 inches at the highest height setting, with 1-inch increments between adjustment settings. The device passed the height range specification according to the SolidWorks model, and the 1-inch increment specification in both the SolidWorks model and the manufactured prototype. The height range measured for the manufactured prototype was slightly lower on each end compared to the specified height range, which can be explained by inconsistencies during the manufacturing process, human error during measurement, and slight bending of the device experienced at different positions.

Storability

  • The device passes this verification study as the measurements of both the SolidWorks dimensions (42.5 x 11.45 x 3.38) and the manufactured prototype (42.25 x 12.25 x 4.25) did not exceed the dimensions set as the acceptance criteria.
  • Slight differences in measurements between the SolidWorks model and the prototype can be attributed to manufacturing tolerances.
