Kenneth Lindsley: Team Leader
As team leader, Kenneth will be leading communications between the
group and project advisor by holding frequent meetings, as well as task management in accordance with deadlines. His engineering role will involve designing the main frame of the device and padding accommodations, including implementing the force measurement apparatus in the device. He will also ensure that the frame has the ability to withstand the forces of skiing through Solidworks modeling.
Joshua Charley: Budget Coordinator
As budget coordinator of the project, Joshua Charley will focus on cost analyses and
finding the best suited materials that fulfill the physical needs of the device. The engineering role Joshua will focus on will be the development of the tether and removable handle attachments. This will include modeling the forces on the tether attachments to ensure they do not break. He will also work on designing the speedometer/alert system included with the device.
Brayden Hascup: Secretary
For his administrative role, Brayden will keep track of the project timeline and record the lengths of meeting times. His engineering role will involve designing attachments to the skis, writing code for the speedometer/alert system and force measurement systems. He will model the ski attachments to ensure that they can withstand the necessary forces through Solidworks.
Joshua Doss: Webmaster
As webmaster, Joshua will be designing and constantly updating the website with progress reports and announcements throughout project development. His engineering role will revolve around designing the component that allows for easy ski lift loading, as well as developing the height and width adjustability components. This will also involve modeling forces for these components.
