DC coin motors will be used to apply vibration therapy to the users. This type of motor was chosen based on its flat, thin shape, permanent self-adhesive mounting system, and no external moving parts. Additionally, coin motors were previously used on tactile vests used by astronauts in order to enhance performance in highly stressful conditions.

The following arrangement  of the coin motors on our vest was determined based on optimum locations of vibration therapy– a type of massage therapy– that relieve anxiety.
