This website serves as the central hub for Phased Array Digital Beamforming for 5G Communication, a senior engineering design project at The College of New Jersey. The project was initiated by a four-member team of electrical and engineering science students: Luis Gutierrez (Team Lead), Joelle Jonas, Ja’Mere Stanley, and Quinn Peters, with guidance from faculty advisors Dr. Mahrukh Khan and Dr. Orlando Hernandez. Set for completion in Spring 2025, the work focuses on developing a phased array system with real-time signal steering using the ADALM-Pluto SDR. As the design progresses, this site will be updated to highlight milestones, technical challenges, and innovative solutions, offering an inside look at the engineering process that drives the project.

Join Us! As we continue expanding and finalizing this “array” of ideas into the future of communication technologies – The ADAPT5G Team

The Adaptive Digital Antenna Phased-array 5g Technologies team was founded during the spring semester of 2024, with the goal of providing the public with the future of 5g communication. Located in the heart of the Armstrong building at TCNJ, ADAPT5G is becoming an ever-growing initiative that combines cutting-edge research, hands-on design, and innovative problem-solving.
