The foundational configuration for the phased array system has been successfully implemented. This involved updating the ADALM-PLUTO firmware to unlock its full 2-transmit, 2-receive (2T2R) capability and creating a functional Simulink test model. The model demonstrates an adjustable signal for a Tx/Rx loopback, providing the essential framework for validating the SDR’s multi-channel operation. This milestone establishes the critical software-defined radio foundation upon which the digital beamforming algorithms will be built.
