Our team is developing a custom embedded module platform inspired by devices such as the ESP32. Our goal is to design a deliverable that is compact, cost-effective, and highly adaptable, making it a strong foundation for a wide variety of IoT and sensing projects.
The platform we create will feature:
A custom PCB design that can be fully reconfigured by future teams to meet specific application needs.
An Android Framework/API that communicates seamlessly with our embedded module and I/O modules.
Unlike many hobbyist-oriented boards (e.g., Arduino), our platform will be engineered for efficiency, enabling potential use in large-scale commercial production while remaining reconfigurable enough to integrate into existing designs—even serving as a replacement for Arduino in certain applications.
Summary
We are designing a compact, low-cost, and flexible embedded module platform for IoT and sensing applications. Our deliverables include a reconfigurable PCB design and an Android API, ensuring both scalability for commercial use and compatibility with existing systems, with the potential to replace hobbyist-grade boards like the Arduino.
