For our 2020-2021 TCNJ Mechanical Engineering Senior Project, Chelsea Jones (myself) and Alexis Colon are working on creating a Digital Twin for Machining Tools. Using ANSYS Mechanical Analysis, we are modeling the CNC machine from our very own machine shop. Our long term goal is to sync sensors on the physical machine to our virtual model to provide real-time updates and feedback describing the health of the machine.
