Raahi Desai
Team Leader
He is a senior, biomedical engineering major. He will be responsible for microcontroller or microcomputer programming. This component will be used for data acquisition and signal output. He will be responsible for planning out the wiring to organize how different electrical parts will work together. He will also be acting as team lead, responsible for team communication and timeline.
Kevin Kowalski
Team Secretary
He is a senior, biomedical engineering major. He will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and testing of the device. Specifically, he will be focusing on developing a list of required components for our device and utilizing Solidworks to fabricate a design of the prototype. Additionally, he will be serving as the secretary for our group by recording the minutes of all meetings.
Kwame K. Markin
Team Treasurer
He is a senior, biomedical engineering major. He will be responsible for the budget creation for the team’s project. This will include ordering the materials needed for the design process and making adjustments to suit the team’s portfolio. Moreover, He will also be responsible for any MATLAB programming should the need arise. In addition to the above-stated functions, he will also be responsible for any versatile requirements including validation and testing requirements of the design input for our product.
Taniya Sood
Team Webmaster
She is a senior, biomedical engineering major. She will be responsible for updating the team’s website with the current findings and development status. In addition to this, she will be responsible for communicating with healthcare professionals in order to get their opinions and feedback on the design. Taniya will also be responsible for all the IVenture marketing and logo design. She will be recording and editing videos of the entire process. She will also create material that will be utilized for presentations. Furthermore, she will also be responsible for reaching out to current research groups that are investigating a similar model project and hope to be able to communicate and collaborate with them. She also will assist in designing functions and features, and work on the sensor processes.
