EEG Headset

Headset DesignOur EEG Headset will be tasked with acquiring the brain signals from the scalp of the user. We plan to make it adjustable and form-fitting to be able to be used by people with varying head shapes and sizes. The electrodes will be placed in a manner that will enable our device to read Alpha Mu. These waves have been found to have a frequency between 7.5-12.5 Hz. Research has localized these waves to the primary motor cortex of the brain where the waves are at their strongest.

This SolidWorks model represents the design that we have in mind for manufacturing our headset.
