Our Team

Michael Danyluk

Michael Danyluk is a senior mechanical engineering major, and the team leader for the Stand-up Wheelchair Project. For this project, he primarily focused on the design and research of the frame. Following school, he hopes to work in a position involving robotics or product design, especially involving medical products of some sort. Outside of Engineering, Michael has an interest in physical therapy, and is an avid rock climber.

Jerry Lo

Jerry Lo is a senior mechanical engineering major. In this project, he focuses on all systems related to the lifting of the chair and the research for the lifting system. After graduating, he hopes to go into a career involving product design or testing for medical products. Outside of engineering, Jerry is involved in cultural club at TCNJ and community service in Princeton New Jersey.

Brian Marino

Brian Marino is a senior mechanical engineering major whose focus for this senior project was the design and research of the folding system. Upon graduating he is interested in working in the field of HVAC design, though his work on this project has also created interest in working on engineering devices in the medical field. Outside of engineering, he has an interest in music and has contributed to The College of New Jersey’s radio stations throughout his four years at school. Brian Marino believes that his work on this project has not only bolstered his engineering skills but has strengthened his skills as a valuable member of an engineering design team.

Dorian Armstrong

Dorian Armstrong is a senior mechanical engineering major who is the webmaster for this project. His main focus for this project was designing the braking system, and he also helped with the early stages of the lifting system. He also has a wide variety of interests in engineering and outside of it, such as history and music. Dorian will remain at TCNJ through fall 2020 and is currently undecided on his career prospects, but he believes that his time and experience in this project and his courses will reinforce his skills and passion for engineering and allow him to make valuable contributions wherever he goes.
