With the use of stepper motors, monofilaments with appropriate buckling forces will be applied to the foot.

DESIGN SOLUTION
We will be using monofilaments to to deliver the precise forces. Since these forces need to be lifted up to meet the foot, a double rack and pinion system will be used.
