Device Overview

This is the image of our final onesie design. As you can see, each component is connected to the onesie via patches to allow them to be removed to wash the onesie. Heart rate is measured by photoplethysmography at the wrist, respiration rate is measured by an accelerometer which tracks the position of the stomach and counts the breaths, and axillary temperature is measured by a probe thermometer at the armpit. The data is then collected by the Arduino on the chest. The data is processed and analyzed by the algorithm coded in the Arduino. The algorithm decides to either keep checking the sensors or tells the alarm to go off. The alarm is composed of both a buzzer and LED.
