Problem Statement

There is a need for a discreet, portable device that works to reduce menstrual cramp pain. Dysmenorrhea is an issue for millions of women. There have been countless solutions that have tried to help them, but many of those solutions are limited and do not offer real relief.

Heat therapy has been an effective and time proven method that has been used for generations. There are many different versions of providing heat to provide relief.

Massage therapy is a less used form of relief from cramping. While effective, the costs of going to a professional masseuse can become very quickly, which prohibits many women from using this as an effective means of relief. Vibrations have been shown through literature to be a substitute for massage therapy.

Our device, the AMP device, looks to fill this need by providing heat and vibrational therapy to reduce the cramping and pain caused by primary dysmenorrhea.
