One requirement of the AMP Device is that it must apply heat. The heating will occur within four zones on the abdomen. These heating zones will be able to be turned on or off at the discretion of the user, in order to apply heat where it is most needed.

In order to apply heat, carbon fiber tape is being used. A picture of the carbon fiber heating tape can be seen below.

Four heating zones were created using the carbon fiber tape. These zones are able to be activated independently or together in order to apply heat where the user feels that they need it the most. The heat is programmed to run in set time intervals in order to ensure the safety of the user.
