The purpose of our senior project is to design and fabricate a canoe made out of concrete using engineering principles learned throughout our schooling at TCNJ. Each year the regional competition is held at Cooks Pond in Denville, NJ and we will be competing against many other schools in the Metropolitan region. The competition is judged based on a formal presentation that will be given about how each team came up with their design method. The competition will also incorporate a technical paper which will be an in-depth analysis containing laboratory data from the various mix designs that we are going to test.  The technical paper will also include a structural analyses of different hull designs.
