All aluminium pieces that are directly being welded together needed to be sanded down slightly. This preps the metal by removing possible oxides or coatings that might interfere with the welding process and as a result provides stronger welds.
With milling and cutting process of the long aluminum square bars completed, the team needed to deburr all the holes that were created. This will allow for smoothing of the metal after rough edges were created when the holes were created.
