We drove down to Parkway Avenue and measured the dimensions of four out of the five intersections, excluding N. Olden Ave, to help us produce a more accurate CAD drawing. N. Olden Ave will be measured with the assistance of Robert Vallee, from Vallee Surveying, and his state of the art surveying equipment.
Website Construction
Met up with group to work on team website. Focused on bios and specific responsibilities of each member.
Acquired Measuring Equipment
We spoke with Dr. Brennan and he was nice enough to let us use a single measuring wheel for our project. We will go out into the field this weekend, weather permitting, and take all the necessary measurements of the existing site conditions. This will aid us when drawing the roadway and intersections on Auto-CAD.
Met with C.E.O of Vallee Surveying, Robert Vallee
Our group met up with Robert Vallee, C.E.O. of Vallee surveying, to discuss surveying the Olden Ave and Parkway Ave intersection using Vallee’s state of the art surveying equipment. Robert agreed to come out into the field with us and use his GPS surveying equipment to map out the dimensions of the intersection. It was agreed upon that the DOT should be contacted to acquire any existing site conditions they might have of this section of Parkway Avenue.
